Scheduled time for opening of our first facility is undetermined; the first step is to qualify our first group of dedicated Moms who want to care for their own children with AFS Function Levels 01 & 02 in order to present our potential residents to potential sponsors who need to know who they are helping.
Applicant Qualifications:
Note: Video surveillence will be active in all common areas of residence and therapy areas. House staff will be under video surveillence at all times to ensure optimal sense of security for club moms.
Single moms, and autistic child(ren) with AFS Function Levels 01 & 02. (Note: we are unable to provide appropriate support for high functioning autistic children or adults); and one sibling up to age 18 (exception for full-time students).
Families will pay rent on a sliding scale according to income; no minimal income requirement.
Structured group-living system will involve compliance of House Rules as set forth by AFS, made available to approved applicants for signature. (Sample available soon ).
Background checks required of each potential residential club member.
2-week trial required of each approved potential AFS Club family.
